Otah is a popular Indonesian dish with a hint of mild level spiciness. Otah is basically blended spiced mackerel wrapped up with a thin slice of banana or coconut leaf grilled over a charcoal fire. Otah can either be spicy or non-spicy.
Otah tastes better when it is spicy, Singaporeans who love a bit of heat in their food will definitely love it. However, you could also request for the non-spicy option for those younger ones who cant take spice. We chose to grill our Otah as we believe it is best to be consumed along with the original taste & grill flavour.
